Any items that we resell at our fashion sales raise vital funds for us to keep delivering our service to unemployed women in communities where our help is needed the most.

Donating your items to Smart Works could be a wonderful opportunity to give your pre-loved clothes a new life and help an unemployed woman unlock her confidence, while helping you feel refreshed and inspired.

How it works

01. Choose your items

When choosing, think about what you yourself would wear to work or an interview - or whether the item has resale value

02. Pack your items

When you send a donation don’t forget to fill in the donation form or email newcastle@smartworks.org.uk so we know who to thank.

03. Send or deliver your items

Box up your donations and send them to Smart Works via the post office or drop them off at your local centre.

If you’re a corporate supporter please contact newcastle@smartworks.org.uk to organise your delivery.

04. Spread the word

Spread the word to your friends, family and colleagues. You can also post about your donation on your social channels, tagging @smartworkscharity and using the #FashionasaForceforGood.
