Who we are > Our partners

Our partners

Smart Works is privileged to collaborate with renowned brands and leading corporations who share our mission to help unemployed women secure a job and regain their self-belief.

The support of our partners helps us to equip our clients with the skills and confidence they need to enter the workplace and change the trajectory of
their lives.

Transformational Partners

Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has generously supported us for over eleven years. The iconic brand shares our mission to empower women. Each year, they release a limited-edition Pretty Powerful Collection product, with 100% of sales proceeds (less VAT) coming to Smart Works. Bobbi Brown Cosmetics PRO Artists also dedicate their time to support clients with makeup lessons and events, while customers have the opportunity to donate to the charity through their website.
Bank of America is supporting our Career Coaching programme with significant funding and added employee volunteering and engagement. Introduced in 2020 in response to client demand, Career Coaching is designed to help women with tailored advice and support prior to securing an interview.

Our Primary Partners

We thank our Primary Partners for their continued and unwavering
support.

Accenture has supported Smart Works North East for 3 consecutive years and throughout this partnership has provided funding, volunteering and has delivered both Digital Skills workshops and CV workshops directly to Smart Works North East clients.
We are lucky to have a fashion powerhouse right here in the North East who is so supportive of local charities. Barbour support Smart Works North East with funding, clothing donations, volunteering hours and for the last 3 years we have supported 11 clients into roles as Trainee Machinists in the Barbour factory in South Shields.
Another global brand that has their warehouse and operations based in the North East, we are so grateful to have received numerous large clothing donations from END. that we have been able to sell at our pop up shops and online to fundraise for the service. We also have our fantastic Vinted volunteer Craige who comes in every week after his shifts at END to support us with selling.
We are proud to be partnered with such well renowned, North East business that build corporate social responsibility into their practises. Newcastle Building Society have supported us with funding and volunteering and are always on hand when we need ad-hoc support. We are delighted to have confirmed the partnership for a second year.
We are now in the third year of partnering with Sigma Simple Life. We have received support both - financially and providing wellbeing platform ‘DanceSing’ which is available to all Smart Works staff, volunteers and clients.

Our wardrobe partners

A large part of our wardrobe stock comes from our dedicated wardrobe partners.
Thanks to them we are able to keep offering our clients high-quality interview clothes,
