Massive congratulations to everyone who completed the Great North Run on Sunday. Whether it was your first race or fourth- every single one of you has achieved something incredible.

The heat was tough. But as always, the community spirit of the North East made it an amazing day. There were smiles, tears, an inflatable minion and plenty of determination. We loved cheering you all on.

Thank you especially to those that ran for Smart Works North East. We're truly blown away by the fundraising efforts, with a combined total standing at over £10,000 raised and donations still coming in!

Every penny helps us to run our service, providing interview clothing, coaching, and confidence-building support to unemployed women in our region.
