We recently held a fantastic fundraising event with one of the UK’s most celebrated fashion designer, Lulu Guinness.
Lulu Guinness, OBE became famous for her witty, iconic handbags and accessories. The brand’s creations have been seen on the arms of trailblazing women, such as Kate Moss, Oprah Winfrey, Gillian Anderson and Emma Watson.
Guinness’ informal fashion talk, followed by a question-and answers session, took place during lunch at SIX Roof Top Restaurant, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, on Wednesday, 18th September. Guests met and heard from one of Britain’s most successful fashion designers, while enjoying breath taking views and a delicious two course meal from SIX’s Autumn Menu. Alongside the event there was also an opportunity to win fabulous prizes from Lulu Guinness, the Barbour Foundation, Dobson & Parnell, John Lewis & Partners and more. The event raised over £4,000 to support our core service. We hope to be able to help even more women from across the North East with the confidence, the self-belief and the practical tools they require to succeed at interview and start a new chapter of their life.
